About

Bearing data people can check, not just trust.

MyBearings is an independent project working on one problem: bearing product data that is consistent across manufacturers and suppliers, and traceable back to its sources.

Why this exists

The same bearing, described ten ways

Distributors, marketplaces and software teams all hold bearing data from many sources. Labels differ, units drift, blanks mean different things, and variants get merged or duplicated. The result is search that does not work, filters that mislead, and teams re-checking the same datasheets.

Manufacturer documentation describes each product authoritatively. What is missing is a careful layer that reconciles many sources into consistent, comparable records — and shows its work.

We start with bearings because the identity and attribute problems are sharp and well defined. Adjacent industrial categories come later, if and when quality and demand justify it.

What we are

And what we are not

  • Independent

Not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by any bearing manufacturer. Manufacturer names are used only to identify their products.

  • Not a bearing seller

We do not sell, stock or quote physical parts, and we do not recommend substitutes for your application.

  • Early and explicit about it

Much of what you see is a preview or on request. Every capability on this site carries its real status.
